Willamette River-City of Portland Bridges Boat Tour

Plan to join your fellow bridge engineers for an informative and enjoyable boat tour where we will view some of Portland's wonderful bridges from the unique perspective offered from the river!

The Blue Star Coach will pick up tour-goers at 12:30 p.m. at the Portland Marriott, taking you to board the Willamette Star, where a delicious lunch will be waiting. At 1 p.m., we'll travel downstream on the Columbia River and then up the Willamette River towards downtown Portland. The boat tour will pass under the Interstate, St. Johns, Fremont, Broadway, Steel, Burnside, Morrison, Hawthorne, Marquam and Ross Island Bridges.

Our guide will be Portland's own, Sharon Wood Wortman, author of The Portland Bridge Book. Sharon will share the history and function of these unique and wonderful bridges.
 
We will disembark at a dock across the street from the Portland Marriott.
